LAVERNE (BROwn tabby)
Laverne is looking for someone who understands the importance of patience for slow beginnings and the beauty of earned trust. If you are ready to give this girl the time and love she needs (some squeeze-up treats wouldn't hurt), she will reward you with soft mews, air kneading, deep purrs, and gentle love. Laverne loves to play with her sister (Shirley), her roommate (Bobbi), by herself, and with the colorful ribbon on a stick or scratching posts. Since coming to her foster home, she has been raised strictly indoors, and has not been exposed to dogs or children. Laverne likes to climb and perch to overlook her surroundings, or hunker down in boxes. Like all A4A kitties, Laverne is treated for parasites, microchipped, spayed, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. She enjoys a diet of both wet food and dry kibble and is great with litter! Laverne would thrive best in a quiet home where she can relax and feel safe. She is looking for a patient, loving and consistent person who understands and appreciates shy kitties. While she may not be a clingy lap cat, she will offer you her trust and love in return for your patience and understanding.
Like all A4A animals, both have been neutered, treated for parasites, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and vaccinated. They enjoy a diet of both wet & kibble food. Since being rescued, they have not been exposed to children or dogs. Both are great with litter!

SHIRLEY (black kitten)
Shirley loves to talk! With tiny paws, velvety soft and beautifully dark fur, this girl loves to be pet and will greet you at the door chatting about her day. She is quite the shadow, following close and enjoying your company be it food time, chore time, play time, or sleepy time. She loves to either sit on your lap or sit next to you and purr while getting lots of pets. Shirley loves to play with the ball track, ball tower, her sister (Laverne), shoelaces, and the colorful ribbon on a stick. She likes lap time and will even groom you before she lays her head down for a snooze. Since coming to her foster home, she has been raised strictly indoors, and has not been exposed to dogs or children. BOBBI (brown tortie)
Bobbi had a rough start to life (found in the engine compartment of a vehicle in HPP), but that hasn't stopped her from being a sweet girl and chatting all about it. When she connects with the right companion, she loves to be held rewarding you with her soft purr, tiny mews, and will even groom you! She is enjoys playing with her furry roommates (Laverne and Shirley) and likes to play enjoying ball tracks, ball towers and pom pom balls the most. Since coming to her foster home, she has been raised strictly indoors, and has not been exposed to dogs or children. Like all A4A kitties, Bobbi is treated for parasites, microchipped, spayed, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. She enjoys a diet of both wet food and dry kibble (she also loves squeeze-up treats) and is great with litter! Bobbi is a gentle, calm girl who after being trapped in an engine is learning to trust the world at her own pace and would do best in an adult-only home who will give her time to adjust. In the right home, there is no limit to the happiness and love she will bring.
